If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power

A digital painting of singer Halsey as they appear in the funeral scene of their film for the album "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power." Halsey is wearing a black gown with very large puffed sleeves, a full skirt, and a plunging neckline. They wear heavy black eyeshadow and decorative crown-like headband with long black veil. A cropped close-up of part of the digital painting featuring the decorative, halo-like headband with filigree designs. A cropped close-up of part of the digital painting showing the beading details on the bustier of the gown. My portrait of Halsey from the funeral scene in their film is complete!  I breezed through this one, it was so much fun.  The most time consuming part was probably just finding references for everything.  Thankfully, Law Roach posted on his instagram that the exact dress is by Stephane Rolland, SS2021.

I debated a lot about everything having a red theme instead, but finally settled on the eerie blue of the original scene.

I have also completed a time-lapse video for this!  The first one in a while.
