I was trying to get back in the headspace of working on my character, Rowan. I love working on her, and I always try to make the drawings with her somewhat cozy.
I spent some time building her apartment in DAZStudio, mostly for fun and without a real project in mind. Once it was built, though, I wanted to do something with it.
I landed on Rowan having fallen asleep while working. It was an idea that I was thinking of while being reluctant to get out of my own bed. Some mornings my dog, Mabel, is so cuddly that I feel like I could stay there forever.
The folds on the pillows and blankets were really fun to sketch out, I can only hope they will be as fun to color.
