So, at the local comic con a few weeks back, I saw a couple of different versions of Ariel cosplay wondering around, at least two of which were Pirate/Sailor Ariel, and I couldn’t help myself, you guys know I love pirates, I had to have a go at my own Pirate Ariel.
I like to think that in this case, Ariel made the trade with the sea witch, exchanging her voice for legs, and later goes back and steals the pendant with her voice right back.
She would constantly frustrate the other pirates because everything she considers to be treasure does not exactly line up with what they consider to be treasure. They think she’s charming, though, and she finds them delightful. Plus, if they keep her happy, Triton seems to keep the seas in their favor.
