I finished that six fan arts meme going around!
This was a fun thing to work on, especially without the pressure of having to color anything (although I’ve seen other artists do full-colored ones that are so nice).
Kida, I picked because I realized that I haven’t done ANY Atlantis fan art. Her design is so fun and she deserves more love in general. Last year at comic con there was a couple dressed as Milo and Kida and it remains one of my favorite cosplays. Atlantis is one of those movies that I can watch over and over again without it getting old, all the characters are so fun.
Jack, I have drawn many times and I couldn’t resist drawing again. He’s my boy, one of my all-time favorites, so here he is again.
Anastasia, I have tried to draw in the past and failed. I was OBSESSED with the film when I was little. I was Anastasia for Halloween one year. I had Anastasia dolls and the music box and a little teal cassette tape that played Once Upon A December, I adored it. The nostalgia is strong with this one.
Wendy is my go-to character to play in Don’t Starve (in Don’t Starve Together I tend to play as Winona, but I know Wendy has gotten some cool updates there since the last time I played as her). She’s so cute, I love her dialogue when she examines objects, and Abigail is a great asset to the game.
Miles is a delight and I’m really over-due for another re-watch of Into The Spider-Verse. I need to read his comic at some point, too, but he was so fun to draw before and I’m glad I’ve drawn him again.
Jenny, I have not drawn in actual years. My Life As A Teenage Robot was one of my first fandoms. I would draw Jenny obsessively, on everything, until I could draw her perfectly from memory. I remember taking pictures of my TV with a disposable camera so that I could draw copies of the show, because this was way back before youtube or screencaps were a thing. The show is on Hulu now and I had some fun watching a few episodes while I worked on this.
