I’ve been working on this (and my Zero prop) off and on for a little over a week.
I did my best to get the front as close as I could, but I mostly made up the back of it as I went along since there’s not a lot of shots of the back. Also, it has pockets because every dress should have pockets.
I got a dress from the thrift store and used it as a base. I basically layered scrap pieces of fabric on top of that and then painted patterns onto the appropriate pieces.
A cheap pair of tights and some embroidery thread is how I got my leg stitches. This costume was also an excellent excuse to buy some cute new boots and some black and white stripped socks.
I’ll be sure to get some pictures when I wear the whole thing put together!
