I have been drawing Rowan for ten years now, which feels so weird. I’ve always had a lot of fun with her, though, and I honestly would love to keep redoing some of my early art of her.

Rowan is oversized sweaters, freckles, dreamy vibes. Creating and working on her brought me such comfort ten years ago and still does now.

I was a bit more ambitious this time around. The windows are at a different angle and a bit more complicated, and I did more with the light coming from the windows. I also think her pose lends itself a little better to actually working on something than it did in my original drawing.
