I hope I never get tired of drawing Helena. Years and years later, it’s still my favorite music video of all time, and defines My Chemical Romance for me. The colors, the tone, the rain, I love it all.
Drawing puddles is also a pain in the ass and I don’t know why I did it to myself. I’ve drawn a few rainy scenes before but always cropped above the ground, conveniently.
I also really love the aesthetic of umbrellas, anyone else? I think it might be because I grew up in a desert, so rain and anything related is rare and exciting.
