So I was able to do the chalk art competition this year! I thought I wasn’t going to be able to, because I dislocated my knee two months ago, but my physical therapist said I could do it (though it wouldn’t be very comfortable). I had a pillow and kneepads but as per usual, my legs are not my biggest fan right now.
Anyway, I decided to draw Ariel this year. I haven’t drawn her before and I wasn’t expecting it to be as fun as it turned out being. I’d love to draw her again.
The top picture is what she looked like immediately after I finished yesterday. It rained last night, and while the chalk art was under a tarp, it still rained enough for some water to get to the art. It stayed around the edges of Ariel, though, and I kind of liked how it looked, so I included that in the bottom image.
